Yahoo!!! Gene and his wife Kathy made it to NY without significant issues. About 100 miles into the trip he lost the cruise control so I need to look into that and a few other things. He took good care of our coach and had to do a lot of little things to make the coach liveable and we appreciate them getting the systems tested and cleaned. The coach does have a lot of road grime that will take a lot of scrubbing tomorrow.
Now we go about making those little changes to make it our own.
Our basic ideas, in no particular order, are to add EFI (the exhaust is real black and sooty so that may be sooner rather than later), A Mac dash, replace the front bearings with the kit Jim K has using Ford sealed hubs and possibly the reactive braking system.
Looks like fun and I will be back often asking for help as I figure out GMC specific systems.
