Wayne,
If you plan to purchase a new toilet, get a SeaLand china unit. I installed one 9 yrs ago and consider it one of the best things I have done to my GMC. During that time I have installed one seal kit. During the first 5 yrs I lived in the GMC 50 to 75% of the time. They aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I had a Thetford toilet and dump valves in the class C motorhome I owned before the GMC. The average life of toilet seals and valves was less than 6 months. In addition to short life, Thetford parts are expensive. Seems like the last dump valve I purchased was over $30. I have Valterra dump valves in the GMC and they cost less than $20 and I haven't had one fail in the 9 yrs I have owned the GMC. I paid about $5 for a Valterra repair kit that I have hauled around for at least 5 yrs now.

Parts for the Aurora are not readily available (even though some places list them) so, aghast, Lisa has been let loose to purchase whatever she wants for a new head. Hopefully, it will be here when the coach arrives. I think she is anxious to use the coach and wants everything to work, especially the plumbing :p since she is hooked to her IV all night and can not stray too far when nature calls.
