From what I understand, the Elandan was designed by Winnebago as a sort of copycat to the GMC to fill the void left by the end of TZE production. As far as Winnebago's go, the Elandan's are the best looking coaches they ever made, in my opinion, and that includes the new ones. New coaches all look like a big square brick with wheels.

Yes, they all wanted to "look" like the GMC and the Elandon dod that but make no
mistake it was still a log truck from the bottom! It rocks and rolls down the
road, bumps around on the back bed and sounds like a truck-- they were nice but
they are NOT a GMC
