Hi Steve
I would be one been using it since I got the coach in 04 no problems to speak of except when I bought it the mass air flow sensor wire was only making contact when it felt like, Replaced the heated wire element no problems since.

To make a long story short Larry. I bought a '69 SS El Camino that
has a built BBC engine in it and it had the Air Sensors unit
installed. I had never seen one these before so I started doing some
research. I think they stopped installing them back in the 80's but I
was amazed at the support out there for them. Then Bob Drewes
mentioned that he is running on of those on his GMC. I was beginning
to feel like a dummy because it seems like everyone has heard of these
things except me. I recently sold the El Camino and the buyer wanted
a 4bbl so I surgically removed the unit.
Hot Rod magazine used to publish tons of articles about these things
and everything from dune buggys to motorhomes got covered in their
articles. Anyway, here is a better look at the one I have (I have it
on Ebay right now).

I'm going to get questions and I was hoping for some input from the net here.

Thanks Bob.
I thought I remembered you saying you had one of Airsensors units. I
must be losing my memory.

Steve,
I believe I saw on another forum that the man who made those is
still in business.
And still servicing part for them.

Hi Steve
It is a hybrid 4bbl base with 4 injectors that fire in sequence depending on the configuration. It is a mass airflow unit so no tps or any other sensors needed in a speed density system like the howell or the newer Holley Projection units

Steve;
Whoops...my mistake, I thought you were talking about the 'old' air sensor units. Looks like some good equipment that could be installed on the Rockwell aluminum intake for the Olds in the GMCMH.

Richard,
No. There's no real reason why it shouldn't. The injectors will fit
any manifold made for them and it's infinitely adjustable as far as
cruise, part throttle, idle and acceleration.
But no, no one has chimed in. Jim K is familiar with the system as
is Bob Drewes.
