With the belly of the beast exposed, does anyone have experience/suggestions
on pressure washing the engine and the bottom of the coach?
I have years of oil build up i'd like to remove.

thanks!
pete

Pressure washing is the transfer of everything clinging to a
mechanical part to your person.
Go for it.
I don't work on anything old until I go to war with it with my 3,000
psi pressure washer. Just don't park the coach in a foot traffic area
because the globs of grease ultimately end up on your feet. One ounce
of grease on a shoe will nearly destroy 10 yards of household carpe.
You'd be amazed at how much this seems to bother significant others.

Pete lives on enough of a hill that he won't have to worry about foot
traffic behind his coach. The EPA, yes. Foot traffic, no. Of course, if no
one tells the EPA will never find out. At least, that's the way I look at
it.

I still fail to understand why you can let black water out on your own farm
but cattle, horses, wild animals, and the birds of the air can do what they
want when they want.

Kept meaning to pass on this hint from a cousin about pressure washing:
Lay an old piece of carpet underneath, do the cleaning, then roll up and
throw away the old carpet, now soaked with all the nasty oily dirt.

mainly because you cannot guarantee that it won't end up washing on my farm. animal poop makes good fertilizer; human poop doesn't.
