Talked to Paul today. He was moved to 'step down' last night. They have him sitting up in a chair. Most of his family are visiting with him today.

Sounds great. He's on his way to recovery.
Been there, done that. It won't be long and he
will be complaining about the food.

Just got of the phone talking with Paul. Paul returned home to Michigan Wednesday evening. Will be a slow recovery.

I also talked to Paul this afternoon. He is up and walking around the house today. He saw his local doctor today. He has a few stitches in his chest that he will likely get out next week. He says he tires easily but feels that is normal after heart surgery. Overall he sounded very good. They told him that the heart attack that he had usually would have killed him and that he is just lucky that he is still alive. He was complaining that the hospital charged his insurance company $14,000 for the jet trip that took he and his wife from Michigan to Ohio. Glad to see that he is a bit fiesty. Thats probably a good sign!

Why will it be a slow recovery?? Just wondering, as I'm looking
forward to my bypass surgery someday...(oh ya, it's coming...)

Then by all means knock off that exercise. You only have so many
heartbeats, why use them all up at once?
