I just heard from a fellow GMCer that there is a plate on the bottom of the bell housing where the ring gear on the flywheel is accessible.

Too hot for me to get under the machine right now and I wonder if anyone can verify that point or might even have a photo of this item?

I would like to use a flywheel turning tool to try to get the engine to rotate before removing the starter to access the ring gear.

Many thanks.
