OK - I've got the front suspension out of Smurffie for new bushings, hubs and knuckles for new bearings and Zerks, and the axles are out for new boots and grease. The wheel wells are also out.

I'm looking at that great open space and thinking now is the time to do a bunch of things that will be much easier now than they will after I get the suspension back in.

As I have to replace the exhaust I'll also get the manifolds off and checked out. The brake lines are getting replaced. I want to do some work on the air compressor and lines. Replace the heater hoses. Replace the battery wiring to the starter. I'm nowhere near being able to do the AC compressor.

Are there any thoughts as to what other jobs would be so much easier with the suspension out? You know that job you did where you wished the suspension was not in the way.

Other things on my list that I don't know if they would be easier w/o the susp are to:
-pull the radiator and get it checked or rebuilt/replaced
-replace the rad hoses
-replace all vac lines
-install the vac pump and reservoir
-replace the MC and booster.

put on the hydrolic brake lock
add the second air compressor
add the electric wiper kit
add the booster vac pump
add the APC to the isolator
rework the ac compartment
remove the water heater hoses
rewire the starter to the battery
put ceramic paper on the engine compartment
change the pads from the chassis to the body
run the gas lines and electric gas pump outside the frame
add the Rostra cruise control
replace the tranny cooler hoses with new steel lines
remove the vacuum canister line from the vac system
drill the knuckles for zerks
add the Ragusa al plates on both sides for batteries and storage
paint everything black so it looks cool
put on the sensitized booster and new master cyl
add a vent hose to the tranny

really can't think of much ;>)
