I'm trying to get the front roof air to operate on the generator. The front roof air works when the cord in plugged into 120V.
Referring to the panel located in the back between the rear beds--If I run the generator and switch the see-saw breaker to turn off the service cord and apply the current from the generator to the service panel, there is no power to the front roof air. However, the other 110V circuits for the tv, converter, and refrigerator do work on the generator. Both the double breaker and the ground fault breaker are in the 'on' position. In looking at the diagram, the breaker positions are switched in the service panel. Don't know if that makes a difference or not.
While the generator is running one breaker in the panel located by the right rear wheel well controls the service to the rear roof air. I don't know what the other breaker in that box controls. The rear ac does not operate on the service cord when it is plugged into 120V. I am thinking that I can operate the rear AC on a power cord plugged into a male receptacle on the outside left rear of the coach.
Their is another electrical box in the right rear of the coach that I have not idea as to its purpose.
Can someone enlighten me on how the roof ac circuits are suppose to be wired? and what position the switches should be in for the front roof air to work on the generator?
