Thanks for the reply.
Like you said, it is the distance causing the vibrations , I know ,that it
has to shorten ,the life of the belt.
It may brake early and take the other Belts with it,
I would like ,to add a tension pulley ,to dampen the vibrations.

The belt vibration at slow rpm is caused by pulsation's from the 'wobble
box' compressor, and as you have found out, as rpm's increase, the
pulsation's even out and the belt runs smoother. The long length of the belt
does not help the flopping either, at low rpm's.
