Was that a statement or a question?
Insurance is an endless source of speculation here. There is no 'best' there is just what you have. For most coaches just add it on to your existing company. If you have a highly restored coach with $50K in improvements, you have another kettle of fish on your table.
But if I read you literally, the company towing your RV should have coverage for any damage that occurs while your RV is being towed.

Or, is the question, What is the best towing insurance... that is insurance that will pay to have a coach towed to a suitable garage? If that is the question, this is one I am interested. I know Dan finally was paid for his tow. Dan, perhaps you could give us a thumbnail of which companies you had, and who paid what?

We had insurance from Coachnet (FMCA) for a week. They paid a $600.00 tow
bill & helped find a suitable repair facility for our Coach one week after
we purchased the policy. No changes in premiums since.

I had towing included on my policy with State Farm -- very inexpensive. Should I need a tow, I pay and then file a claim.
If I traveled any great distance from home I might consider another service.

My experience with Good Sam was horrible!! They would only tow me 13 miles to the nearest shop that "claimed" to be able to fix my GMC when I lost a rear wheel. I was only 50 or so miles from a recognized GMC motorhome specialist. Nope! 13 miles only - take it or leave it. I left it and had the coach towed at my own expense, less the 13 miles, to where I wanted it to go.
Good Sam? no thanks. At the suggestion of someone here on the GMCnet I checked with my regular insurance State Farm and they reimbursed me, not only for the above tow but also to replace the transmission that the above tow guy destroyed by towing my GMC backwards. I'm very happy with State Farm.
