Regarding keeping your privacy...

When you want to give out your phone number but don't want to announce it to world, try Google Voice.

These are new phone numbers which Google will give you
for the asking. (no more invites required)

That way you can use this new number to post ads in CraigsList
or anywhere on the internet and not give out any private info.

I have used it for the last year or so, works very well
and seems to have 'no strings attached'.
