But your comment on the last and most important picture has been lost. It looks like you put it in the title and it got trunciated

Billy,
I've been trying for an hour to add three photos of the modified mockup with
spring suspension. Regardless of how I attempt to post them, after
everything appearing normal, I get the display "No thumbnail" and the photos
are not available. I've tried deleting and replacing, changing the file on
the edit screen, and adding them beyond the bad entries. The first of the 3
finally "took", but the last two are still not cooperating. Any
suggestions?

That may have been the start/cause of the problem. I forgot to resize those
3 photos. After they finished processing (unsuccessfully), I resized them
before trying the final 5-8 times. I probably broke the system. :-( Sorry
