Thanks for the looking and reference but I need to find one somewhere in the Midwest. By the time I would fly out west, put new tires and wheels on, and drive back it definitely eats into our cost of acquisition. I much prefer something close enough that I can throw my alcoa's and tools in the truck and con someone to drive with me to get it and then they drive the truck home behind me.

No sense getting one with a good interior as the interior will be removed to make it into an art studio. (and rolling rest room for the CFO's IC.)

as the owner of the 23' Birchaven, I have to reply'
Who is turning it into an art gallery???
Dinette bed was small and not comfortable. The suspended bed unit was useless. There was no place to put my tool box, wouldn't travel without my tools.
In removing the dinette,I discovered the mess that Coachman had made of the kitchen area and the plumbing involved. So I decided to redo the dinette/kitchen area.

The reason for my sale is that I became a single parent to my 17 YO grandson, at 70 years of age. As such, I don't have time for my toys.

The price that I am asking is realistic, and in line with 'actual' selling prices for the current market

Location is on the central CA coast, about 50 miles south of San Jose, About an hour and fifteen minutes from JimK's

Jon,
Steve is looking for a 23 ft rear bath coach for his wife to use as a mobile art studio.
He was disappointed it was too far distant from his location in the upper mid west.

Sorry to see you are giving up your coach -- but certainly understand your other priorities.

Did you see the solar powered one on eBay?
It has no interior to speak of.

Jon - if you were local to me, I.E. within pickup truck range, I would have been on yours like right now, there might have been a sale by now. Your price is right, it's the location that doesn't work. 2000 miles and 34 hours driving time is way to far to make that work. My thoughts on miles are less than 75 if I have to have it hauled, and 200 or so if I can drive it, ball park.

Kudos on stepping up to the plate with the grandson.

Not my business, I know, but might not use/modification
of the GMC together aid in bonding with the grandson?
