I'm also having trouble navigating the different brake pads.
I see that JimK has the yellow stuff pads, but are they really
necessary? They're a bit priceir than anything else. Is there that big
of a difference or is there a good alternative?
I need to do all of the brakes for the first time, so I'm interested in
your advice.

Never tried the yellow pads. I have been using the Performance Friction pads I got at Auto zone. I wouldn't put any old pad on like standard metallic pads.

I put yellow sticky pads in place of performance friction and got much better braking with less pedal pressure. I will use yellow pads again. JWID

Hi All..
I had a set of "Yellows" on my coach for almost a season... They did feel like they had a better bite!
BUT, I found that I had worn them out in about 7000 miles! The hills out here in Colorado are hard on brakes! If you use them keep an eye on them..
