G'day,

I could have sworn that someone has installed one of the Mondello Valley
Trays in their GMC, however, the Mondello catalog says it doesn't fit!?

http://www.mondellotwister.com/GasketsSealants.htm

Scroll down to the Valley Tray - VT-581

Regards,

Rob M.

Rob,

Search Mondello on the photo site and you will see several installations...

Also one by Terry Skinner -- I did not know he made such a tray.

There is a tiny amount of trimming on the ends as not all blocks are
exactly the same. Tin snips work well with no effort.

A lot of people have put them into their GM motorhome engines. Mine
was installed several years ago when I filled my crossover. It fit fine.

I have installed a half dozen of them. Every time we remove an intake
to block the cross-over one gets installed. The thing I like about
them is they hold the lifters in place if you loose a push-rod or
rocker bolt. Yes, I have had that happen. When the lifter pops out you
will have a drastic drop in oil pressure. Another one of those stories
for a warm fire and a cold beer................Terry

I should have installed one when I had my intake off and I didn't. If the intake ever comes off again I will definitely install one. I always have to do everything twice to get it right.
