I'm curious about building a small deck on the roof of my 23 footer. Just a little steel platform big enough for a lawnchair or two that would be raised to hover over the rear fan and vents. Anyone done this or seen it done? I've seen it on buses, but not sure if it's feasible for something as small as a Birchaven. Would love to see some pictures if anyone's seen this done.

There was a coach and a stand that sold two years ago. A free standing deck, no attachment to the coach, made of square steel tube. They put it up over the front. I think it was large enough for four chairs, and a flag pole, NASCAR fan. That is all I know, no idea how it collapsed or how/where they carried it. But you would still be dwarfed behind a big SOB.

Jeff at Alex Sirum had one for sale for a while. Just the platform that came off a coach. He had the problem mentioned in the previous post. Built it for NASCAR but when he got there and set it up, he still couldn't see over the buses, especially the buses with platforms...
