I can't leave this tonight without noting how very much better northern NE is than we ever would have guessed! We are traversing US20 so it takes us through a really great small town about every 10 to 50 miles. Many have municipal RV spaces in their parks. Right now we are in Stuart, NE, parked in a full hook up space in their park ($10 per night) watching a youth baseball game out our front window along with at least half of the residence of this town of around 1500. Earlier this evening we biked around town and every person we passed waved and smiled. You simply cannot beat small town America!!!!! Oh, and the weather is perfect, warm, calm, warm, dry and the scenery is rolling green grasslands as far as you can see in any direction..... More later,

Jerry

Gerrey, if you are anywhere near Minden be sure to stop at the Pioneer
Village Museum. Plan on 3 days to see it all. When I was there camping
was free with a multi day admission ticket.

I guess if you bought one of these wifi-sd chips, you could talk to your
camera and send us pix on the GMCphoto store

One of the cool things to do with the iPad is use Skype and make free phone
calls to your grandkids, like Mr.C does.

nice trip

Gene,
I may never use a still photo camera again. While in St. Cloud, MN a
few weeks ago, we bought a Flip video camera from Costco. That is the
camera I have always been looking for. One off/on button, one
start/stop record button, zoom in, zoom out and no other buttons. Hi
Res movies that download themselves and the simplest software I have
ever encountered. Smaller than an IPod. Touch a small release and a
USB jack pops out of the top. 120 minutes of recording time and the
software allows still photo capture.
Slickest movie camera made IMHO. I paid $189.00 and got home and
found a discount coupon from Costco for $30 off.

Gene,
1280 X 760 96 DPI. The photos are excellent!
I forgot to mention that the software is in the camera and
automatically downloads to any computer you plug it into. No
instructions about complicated loading, it just does it.

Steve, just to be sure, I am looking at http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0023B14U4/ref=dp_olp_new_map?ie=UTF8&qid=1277396964&sr=8-2&condition=new

Although Black, is this the same camera that you bought? Amazon has it for $111.03 and free shipping.

School issued me a Flip Mino HD. It's a great little camera and I try
to have it with me as often as possible for baby videos and such. The
only issue I have with it is that the telephoto isn't very wide and
you've got to step back sometimes. Other than that, the video looks
fantastic and it's pretty easy to deal with.

These are the standard-issue cameras for the multimedia communications
department at the university where I work.

I wonder if you discovered Hidden Paradise east of Ainsworth about 15 miles
on the Long Pine. Some of our bottled water comes from springs there, just a
bit south of US20. My wife's family lived in Ainsworth and the surrounding
area for several generations. She did her Jr. High and High years there. Her
mother and dad were educators/administrators.

Enjoy! Oh, find a 4th of July celebration too!

Mine is model M2120
I don't see a model number there. One of those things that I had to
have right now so I didn't shop pricing.
