I wonder if someone might have a good picture of the routing of the starter cable and starter solenoid wire. I didn't take a picture of that when I took apart my engine, and now both are hanging loose and way too close to the exhaust manifold. The starter cable has a bracket, but it is not very clear where it attaches.

Also, is there a good already-available passage one can use to route gauge lines from the dash area to the engine compartment? Or is it a matter of (gasp) drilling new holes?
