G’day,

This subject comes up constantly with people that are looking for GMC’s. I
did a search on Gene's website for "bed" and nothing came up. I'd suggest we
put together a listing of the various GMC models and their bed sizes. List
the advantages and disadvantages also. When the list is done Gene can post
it on his website to help prospective GMC buyers decide which is best for
them.

I’ll start with my 26” Avion:

Driver side length as measured in the center of the bed from the rear wall
just below the window to the wall of the bathroom: 74 inches.
Driver side width as measured from the side wall of the coach to the side of
the dresser / nightstand in between the beds: 34 inches

Passenger side length as measured in the center of the bed from the rear
wall just below the window to the wall of the closet: 74 inches.
Passenger side width as measured from the side wall of the coach to the side
of the dresser / nightstand in between the beds: 34 inches

Advantages of rear twin bed:

1) Don’t disturb partner to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.
2) Don’t have to make up the beds nightly.
3) Dresser / nightstand between the beds.

Disadvantages:

1) Anyone over 6 feet tall used to sleeping in a Queen or King sized beds
(80 inches long) may have problems sleeping in a bed 5 inches shorter. If
they are used to sleeping in a California King (84 inches long) the problem
could be worse.

Additional advantages / disadvantages solicited.
