a drum brake located inside the caliper? It might be just the ticket
for our GMC"s.

No, But I given a little thought to developing a drum parking brake
on the front right axle. Where the right drive axle is bolted to the
stub axle flange one could use longer bolts that extent thru the stub
axle flange and attach a two-piece external drum like they have on a
lot of other motorhomes. I don't have the tools to do the machining
but is would be an easy job for Dave Lenzi.
