One thing to consider that we're wrestling with:
A straight 12 volt fridge uses MUCH less 12 volt power than a gas/12volt or gas/12volt/110ac fridge when running on 12 volts.
We're talking roughly 3 amps DC vs around 14 amps. A 2-way gas/110 also uses about 1.2 amps DC for controls.
So if you can use LP, great, it works fine. But if you want to primarily use 12 volts, your options
are more limited. I've found a number of marine fridges (eg Isotherm) that would work, but you have to be careful
they're air cooled, not seawater cooled.

Another issue is our 2-way 110/gas fridge can't be run while we're driving unless we leave the gas turned on.
Hard to justify replacing since it's not very old, but not what we'd have chosen. On the up side, it's very
quiet compared to a 110/12-volt compressor fridge.
