Dan asked a few weeks back how mine was. I replaced it a couple of months ago but never drove it after that.

Well today I took it out and darn near put myself through the windshield.

What A difference. I highly recommend it.

I got mine from Jim K.

Ken,
You need to take it easy.

Great Ken. Thanks for the report. I am glad your's does what mine does. Kinda makes it feel like a car when you step on the pedal, dosen't it.

Ken,

Questions...

Did you have to change the length of the rod?
I understand that can be a key element.

Secondly, how long (and how much hassle) was it to install?

Thanks!

No, I just used the same rod. Since it is the same physical booster with some different guts inside I cannot see why the rod length would need to be changed.

The most difficult thing is to get to two of the back bolts. Most people trim a little of the plastic away near the bolts. I was determined to do it without trimming. It probably took me about 45 minutes to an hour. Trimming the plastic would make it even quicker.

I believe it took less than 30 minutes to do Dan's. Of course he had good supervision on the project to make sure he did it correctly.

G'day,
Dan & Ken thank you for your reports.
I have always had a very good pedal, pulls up straight..eventually, even a hand brake that sorta works, but I have at times needed to really stand on the pedal to pull it up. Now I feel I can confidently purchase a new booster with out thinking "I hope this fixes it".
