I understand that after President Obama visits Solyndra this morning he will walk up the street to Applied GMC to talk with Jim about the new Presidential Motorhome.

I hope I'm not spilling any State secrets.

He just landed there a little while ago, after flying over my house.
GMC-1 should be leaving the shop soon after that <vbg>.

Maybe Jim K can lobby him to ease up on the ethanol instead of increasing the percentage in our gas. Slip him a few $20s, that seems to work with most politicians...

Well Jim K should give himself and his associates the day off like the
solar plant workers got. Go home and do not come back till Thursday
they were told. Are they afraid that they might ask some embarrassing
questions or that they would have to be asked to fill out forms from the
secret service that require them to state if they are citizens and here
legally.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2010/05/26/solar_plant_workers_told_to_stay_home_without_pay_due_to_obama_visit.html

Jim K better watch out being an ornamental they might send him packing.
LOL Or they might find his over the top turbo installation to be a slap
in the face for the energy policy. In any case lay low Jim K., and
assume the position.

Marcus,
Tongue in cheek and wondering who will flame me for this.

Notice how the unions didnt call back. They love our president. They wont bite the hand that feeds them.

Anyone want to be that the attitude would be different if our past president paid the same visit?

A day off with no pay and you think that makes a Union person love him? Get serious.

Marcus joked:

Jim has nothing to worry about here in California. We once had a "sleeping" Senator Hayakawa who figured out pretty quickly that Washington is a great place to nap.

Northern California is filled with hard working immigrants and their descendants. We've got to work hard so we can enjoy some leisure time in paradise. Lots of Asian, Hispanic, European immigrants and even a few misplaced souls from Boston, and the Southern States!

Me? My family has only been here for 5 generations.

I think it'd be a hoot to see his secret service under the coach trying to get the mascerator working.

The Secret Service guys shouldn't have to do that sort of thing for their
clients. I'd MUCH rather see him under there doing it for himself.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this post was "I wonder how long it will take before someone inserts a derogatory comment about the current administration". Unfortunately, not long.

I beg to differ.
There were four slams and the first two were in relatively short order.
I think it best we not mention the government - let alone politics - at all in this group as we all do have things that we can do.
