Just wanted to post that I got my radiator back today. He found 1 big leak & several small ones that he repaired. He tested both coolers & found them both OK. He boiled it out & inspected it for corrosion and noted very little corrosion present. When he got all the leaks repaired, he pressure tested the radiator to 20 psi. Total cost of repair was $85. I now feel comfortable enough with his work to post his shop name.
JL&L Radiator, LLC
#2 HY. 14,PO Box 4055
Tyler, Tx. 75706
(903)592-5393

His shop is located about a block north of Loop 323. It is also reachable by going south on 1 from I-20. It is apparent he takes pride in his work. His shop is big enough to be able to pull our coaches inside.

Richard,
It sounds like things might have worked out well on your

We need a sort of "Green List" Shops like this, that we can go to for service. Why Green? well, they expect to be paid! Laughing

Chris,

The list below is on Bdub's website:

Service Provider Recommendations List
Comments and recommendations from fellow GMCers about facilities they have
used. Submit additional entries or comments for the list HERE.

http://www.bdub.net/GMCServiceComments.pdf

Last night I finished updating this list with inputs from all the GMCnet and
sent it to Bdub. I will re-do it and include the info from Richard on the
radiator.

There's this list too:

http://www.bdub.net/GMCSupplierLinks.html

Note that you can download this list in a number of formats.

Hey Richard;

Thanks for the great radiator repair update. It's nice to know that
we can have a low-cost successful original radiator repair.
