Dave,

I have owned 3 Revcons ('72 25' Olds, '83 & '84  28' 454 Chev.)  I personally feel that the Revcon overall is better built than GMC.  I have 3 GMCs, 1 very nice low mileage.  (Hope not to start big conflict.)

I think I just saw smoke come out of my iPhone!

Kind of reminds me of the last Revcon I saw running - smoke, smoke,
smoke!

Not that they all do...

You are entitled to have your opinion. But I have to ask, why do you now have GMCs?
There is one here at TCT, but it is a 76 - 26'.

The Revcon is very stylistically challenged compared to a GMC. Sad

Not Lanny, but I can answer that easily!

It's the people, the looks, AND our wonderful support network.

No, it's just the people and the support. I kinda' like the look of my ugly Revcon.

I have been looking at steampunk'ed items. I like the look but do not think it would go very well with the shape and style of the GMC motorhome. (It doesn't look OLD enough!)

BUT... a big square aluminum box like the early Revcon might look pretty good in the Steampunk style.

Just doing a web search on steampunk will give you the idea, but here are a few links to start with:

<http://thesteampunkhome.blogspot.com/>

Seems to me the Revcon is like a step brother (or sister) to the GMC.
