Ok, so this email is for the guys selling glass windows and parts.
I have a 1978 transmode and I need a couple things.
I need new glass for the window behind my entry door. I would also like to see or know if a "scoop or fresh air opener" is available?
I am also interested in getting scoops for the front windows. The slide fine but I need a way to get more air to the passenger area. I have removed the roof ac units and just have an air vent which is nice but does not provide a lot of air.
If you have these products please contact me directly on my email.

It is not cheap, but something like this works dandy: http://www.wingsandwheels.com/page37.htm (the Mecaplex side window with scoop) in a sailplane canopy. I wonder if someone else on the list knows if there is a similar, cheaper, part for cars or trucks? I would imagine that a custom, plexiglass sliding window with such a scoop would be really great up front in a GMC. I tend to use my hand for the same effect without any hardware or modification. The other possibility would be to use a vent hole in the firewall, covered by a spring-loaded (normally closed) sliding door that is controlled by a cable. Gliders have such vents, usually taking air from up in the nose at the tow hook opening. I never use the latter on take off, however. Once a wasp came up through the vent on the takeoff roll!
