Well, since I am no longer "shiftless", as Rob puts it, I am headed to a car show Saturday. The GMC and Vdub have been given a special place so that everyone sees them. The scooter will also be on the bumper. Teri is working on information to place near or on them for informational purposes. She may have handouts with our blog and GMC site on them too. Teri is pretty good about coming up with stuff like this but any info yall might have will be appreciated. I am spending the week polishing the coach. Yea, a week. I don't like breaking a sweat if I can help it. Got the passenger side done, including Alcoas.
This is it's 3rd such show but the previous two we had old paint and I was the over night gaurd. This time I am no longer a car club member so we are doing it different. I will have pictures on the blog by Sunday sometime.
So, hollar if you have ideas that have worked to stimulate interest in our classic machines.
Dan

I will tell you that I live cheap. My wife knows how to stretch a dollar. Retired on my 52nd birthday and have not looked back. I figured out what was important to me and that was "time", not more stuff.
Anyway, the car show is down in the bootheel of Mo.

Dan,
If Terri is looking for ideas for your GMC at the car show don't forget the windshield or table poster and the GMCers brochure available at www.gmceast.com/gmcers. Both of these are down-loadable and customizable so that it can be about YOUR coach. Neat stuff that Byron has put together for our use.

Thanks Bill. I had forgotten about Byron doing that. He does good work on stuff like that.
Thanks to you also Rob. Teri and I just try to be good people, that is all. I was a "bad guy" for a long time in many people's eyes. We love our GMC but we love each and every one of yall a whole lot more. It is no longer about the coach with us, we want to know about you and what is happening. We know what a GMC looks like now. Very Happy

Great, I hope you can make it. It will be in Malden. The entire downtown will be blocked off and we will be there. Hiway 25. You can not miss it. Let me know Friday if you think you might show up. Antique and hotrod tractors too.

In response to message 85144, I would like to add that by printing the poster on glossy photo paper it comes out with a substantial weight and a beautiful finish.
