Hear, hear! Not only made the strut leak, but bent the supports! Ours now looks like
it's frowning, because the bumper is pointing upwards in he middle! I'm really disappointed with
the OEM jack, and worse, the whole idea of lifting all that weight by the bumper!

I'm just chiming in here to reinforce the idea that the OEM jack is not a good thing...

The instructions for the OEM long jack specifically say to put the chain by the bumper strut. It won't bend the bumper permanently but it will bow up when jacking.
Not many of us use it anymore.
