This seems so easy I want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
1 disconnect all battery negatives
2 mount Yandina 100 on firewall
3 1 Yandina red to each of the 2 batt terminals on the isolator (don't cut these at all)
4 connect Yandina ground wire to firewall
5 don't use green and blue for now.
6 reconnect both battery negatives.
is that all???

Yup. That is all. Make sure the ground to the aluminum panel is good.

I grounded to the same lug as the chassis batt ground wire on the firewall. Done and Done. All good. Thanks.

I have the 150 Yandina combiner. It came with no wires, only the crimp on
ends. Is there a certain length or size of wire I should use? Why do they
say not to cut the wires??

Gary,

It sounds as if you got the C-100 instructions. That unit has permanently
attached wires much longer than most people would ever need. They serve the
secondary function of limiting the current flow through the combiner -- a
cheap, reliable current-limit resistor.

The C-150 instructions say to use a minimum of 6 feet of #6 wire to connect
it -- for the same reason as above:

Thanks for mentioning this. It got a bee in my bonnet and I went to the Yardina site and was happy to find the 100 was $20 off. Not much but now I will have a combiner instead of my wire arrangement.

George,
Jim K (AppliedGMC) has them for the same price perhaps you should purchase
one from him being that he assists the GMC community.

Fret not. I have done close to 10K with Jim in the last two years. He is part of my personal economic stimulus program. Let's see... fuel hoses on two coaches, 1 gas tank patch, second AC handler for cab installed, AC compressor installed. Then the purchase of two alt. protection cables, one set of headers, 7 AM Eagles, one front complete hub and rotor, boots for steering, 1 through the bumper hitch, macerator, re-enforced front control arms with offset bushings, T-Skirts pop to mind. But yes, I should have thought of that.
