We changed the fluid and filter right after purchase.
It has a long hesitation, the engine has to be revved up and it will start
to engage slowly and then BINGO we move. Any ideas?
It has a slow leak and when topped off it works for a short time.
TIA

You might drop the trani pan and check to make sure the filter is firmly
installed up in its spot. Manny also recommends using 2 O-rings on the tube.
We had a similar problem after changing fluid and filter and doing this
seems to have solved the problem. It is really easy to not fully engage the
tube as it pushes on rather hard. Make sure the O rings haven't been
dislodged also.

It must be contagious. I got a call this morning from a GMCer with the
same symptom.
She had trouble pushing the filter in. One of the o-rings may have
slipped over the bead.
