When I did re-greasing of the front bearings, I replaced the seals with the correct seal. (National #5123) During the install I found that while the inner lip on the 5123 was correct, the seal itself was not a friction fit into the knuckle. The seals were about .002 to small for the knuckle, so they actually spun in the knuckle. It was a Saturday afternoon and I did not want to wait until sometime on Monday to get new (exchange) seals that likely would have the same fit problem. After talking with Dave Lensi some, I decided to try using a muffler expansion tool to make the seal slightly larger for a friction fit. I expanded them approx. .004 for a -002 fit.
