You don't really know what condition it is in. With yours you know the stuff you have worked on is done and how it was done. With this one it is a big bag of UNKNOWN.

True, but just looking at the goodies on that one (alcoa wheels, ramco mirrors, leather seats, new a/c,
new fridge, 6-wheel disc brakes, newish generator) I'd say it's a *much* better deal than ours was.
Even if the frame was rotten, it'd about be worth the $$$ for the parts. Granted, it does need some windows,
body repair, and interior finishing, but it's a great start for the price. Somebody spent a lot of time and
money on it -- a real shame they never got to use it.

1973 23' Patience Tester that is now gutted, and despite "investing" double the purchase price, would probably not bring $2K in it's current state.

It seems to me that the demand for the 23 ft GMC is greater than
the 26 ft; or is it my imagination?
