Dayco belts are gm approved.
The correct Dayco Belts are;
403 and 455-Altenator-15570
403 - P.S. - 15450
403 - A.C. - 15234

Go to AutoZone and get Kelly-Springfield or Duralast (same thing) part numbers{
15450
15620
15573

These will be the correct width for your GMC.

DO NOT GET GATES or NAPA belts. They are too thin.

The Dayco belts stretch more than the Kelly-Springfield or Duralast belts.

I did search but did not find that page, thanks

The PO left two spare belts in the Coach and I was trying to see if they were the correct ones. They do not match any of the numbers given here.
A/C GM 9433674
ALT GM 405600
Guess they are throw aways.

Thanks much.

Or something is different and the PO knew something you/we don't know about that particular installation. I would not throw them out until I knew they did not fit properly. If you are planning on a routine maint change out, try those first. If you are setting up emergency spares get the recommended ones to also have available if needed.

Richard,

STOP THE PRESSES!

I just checked the Parts Interchange Index you get when you join GMC
Motorhomes International - BLATANT COMMERCIAL! ;-)

A/C GM 9433674 is the correct OEM part number for the Air Conditioner belt
on a 455 engine.

ALT GM 405600 is the correct OEM part number for the Alternator belt for a
455 or 403 engine.

However, if I were you I'd see if there were any dates on them before I used
them they could be thirty years old!

I certainly wouldn't toss them. I'm pretty sure that the
construction of belts is FAR different than that of tires!

They look new, rather, never used, no cracks when I reversed them inside out.
The ALT belt is ribbed while the A/C is smooth. I'll keep them.
Thanks again for the thoughts.

Install them and keep the old ones as emergency spares. You know they fit!
