Just got a call from Gary Berry. GMC is ok but the Toad (vw) has a bad rear
bearing.

cannot find anyone on the black list,

Gary needs a place to park and tear it down and replace a bearing. He is
at a Shucks, and a Napa next door, hopes they have the part.

Anyone know of someone in Kfalls, that could help?

Hey All;

Sitting in the K-Falls, OR. WalMart parking lot. Turns out the
drivers side rear stub axle on the Dunebuggy (toad) popped the castle
nut and broke the end off. Just lucky the wheel didn't fall off. Need
inner and outer bearings, seals, stub axle and castle nut. Found a guy
in Chiloquin (just up the road) that will deliver the parts tomorrow
morning. Will take about 20 minutes to put back together. Still might
make it home tomorrow after all. Now I'm just stuck at WalMart for
the day/night. Thanks for the help to GeneF, EmeryS, and DaveG. BTW, I
always tow the buggy on a trailer just in case something breaks.and I
thought that for this trip I would try flat towing it. It's going on a
trailer from now on.

Wheel bearings can go out on trailers also.

How is my favorite GMC dog?

He is probably still thinking about Faye's cat.
