I was suspecting my front shocks were toast so today I disconnected the top bolt on a front shock and there isn't much damping to be felt.

I've looked around and most info on what is best seems to be from 98 till 2001. Whats the recommended shock manufacturer and Part No. these days. I seem to recall reading that Bilstein was good, but recently people have had some bad experiences with them.

thanks
