If one were to gravity bleed brakes, should all six bleeders be opened at once? Or should it be done one at a time, in the order called out in the shop manual.
How long (in minutes or hours) should each bleeder be left open?
IF it can be done sequentially, must they all be done immediately after each other, or can some period of time (say 24 hours) transpire between doing the right rear and left rear wheels, and then the fronts.
I do understand that the master cylinder must be kept full of fluid while gravity bleeding. I also understand when bleeding the fronts, the button on the combo valve needs to be pressed.
If it is not obvious I've never had the "opportunity" to bleed brakes myself (always paid someone else) in the first 45 years of life.
Thanks.
