Anyone here installed a Check Valve in the water system to prevent water from back flowing from the city water connection into the water tank through the pump, and over flowing the tank? My Original water system had so many kludges in it, I couldn't find one when I ripped it all out. Not sure if it needs one, but makes sense that it does.

Anyone have a suggested valve? there are some PVC ones at the blue and orange stores...

With the exception of the faucets, and the flexline connections to them, my 100% new water system is all plastic.

The water pumps have one built in so you shouldn't need to add one.

My '73 has one.
It also has all copper plumbing*.

I had to add a by-pass around the pump and check valve so I could fill the potable tank from city water.

It probably had it to protect the pump and rubber lines from over-pressure (a common issue in campgrounds - I'm told).
