Hi everyone,

I am in the process of rebuilding my dash air and while I have the HVAC box cover off I was considering some mods like adding the diverter and adding a additional slot for recirc air as described here: http://www.gmcws.org/Tech/air_conditioning/air_conditing.html.

On page 6 the article states that the diverter improves airflow. I'm trying to understand how this diverter improves the airflow. Also it seems it will restrict the airflow to the heater core.

I'm sure I am not seeing this correctly and hoping someone can better explain how this diverter affects the air flow.

Thanks,
Jon
