It took only minutes to bead blast the heads. I reused the old
gaskets after applying many coats of cheap silver paint to each side.
Has performed flawlessly since. (Did have to adj the carb though as
the decarbonizing made a significant difference in mixture.)

that works great if you have a bead blasting cabinent which my current limited space forbids.... Sad


I did get it done with carby dip and a soft wire brush and some old school elbow grease...
