I'm remodeling my 1976 Eleganza II, and I have a few stock items coming out which I will be glad to pass on to anyone who needs them. 1.) Stock driver/passenger seats, beige corduroy and sort of a mustard color trim. not ripped up, but a bit dingy. Still have backs, plastic trim, and seat adjuster rails (I'm using the pedestals). Structurally sound for reupholstery, parts, or could use as-is if needed. 2.) Stock electric water heater, never tested but I believe it works, former owner never got it on the road but the owner before him said it was ok. I'm going propane/tankless. 3.) Stock built-in vacuum cleaner, with all accessories. Even has original bag filled with original dirt! Seriously, I've got better things to do with that space. If you need a vac, it's all there. 4.) Magic Chef oven/range- missing grate tops for the stove, chrome top has surface rust, otherwise complete and intact. good for parts or clean it up and use it if you're not picky. 5.) Stock rooft
op A/C unit. I tested it when I bought the coach last year, it blows cold but the blower motor made a squealy bearing noise after it ran for a while. the motor might respond to lube, or it might need to be replaced. Or, use it for parts.
That's all for now. The interior was mostly gutted when I got it so there's not much else to be had. I'm repairing/reusing the bathroom and the kitchen (with the exception of the stove). If I think of anything else, I'll post it. These items are available for pickup in Belmont, California, located exactly midway between San Francisco and San Jose. If you really, really need some of this stuff, I could box it up and ship it for whatever that costs. Thanks to all for all the advice I have been quietly absorbing over the past year, and thanks to Jim K. for the Eagle wheels, Wheel skirt and glass, and miscallaneous other parts (so far). Anyone who wants some or all of this stuff before I recycle it can email me at glennbrien@earthlink.net .
Thanks,
Glenn
