ANNIE and I took the advice of my daughter and sister-in-law plus many friends and this last Tuesday hit the road for Bean Station via Mt. Dora, FL.
After a few hours on the road Tuesday I started to not feel too good and eventually with the help of my GPS found a hospital outpatient facility. The Doc checked me out and after talking things over, he decided it was stress (who would thought it).
He held me in the facility for a few hours to make sure the meds would help and then sent me on my way. I am feeling much better. Better liviing thru chemistry.

Wed. the dash air quit working so when I pulled into the RV park at the Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL, I was spent. Hoooked up and turned the Roof Air on High and took a nap. My brother who works at NASJAX called and after waking up we went out for dinner.

Thur. made a early dash to Orlando to get the dash A/C checked out. Turned out to be a worn shorted out hot lead. No biggie. Did an overnite at the COOP and will be wheeling again for the last hour or so for Mt. Dora, FL in the morning.

After what you've been through lately, I'm glad to see this exciting report.
Glad you're back up and running. Even though we've never met, this forum
brings people together with a common bond to look out for each other.
Have a great trip.

Great to hear Jim. Wish you were up here at Eastern States. We must go home before Bean Station and will miss seeing you there. So glad that you feel like getting out and about. Good that you stopped and saw the doc also.

Jim,

As we used to say back in the '60's KEEP ON TRUCKIN!

I reckon being around fellow GMCer's up in Bean Station will help you
de-stress!

Thanks ya'll for the thoughts and encouragement. Right now I'm holed up at the site in Mt. Dora that Jane loved. Right on the big lake and plenty of solitude. It is different traveling solo and at sometimes not much fun. I'm trying to work up some courage for Bean Station.

Yesterday at the COOP we replaced the worn hot dash A/C wire.
When it was time to tighten the belt it was stretched and decided to rreplace it. ...then decided that "hey, all these puppies are five years old" so we replaced them all. Good thing too. They were starting to check which ment Mr. Murphy was looking to pull a visit somewhere down the road.
The A/C gets so cold that I'm back to drapping a towel over my right knee again.

I'll be spending the weekent with our daughter and then heading out again Monday morning.
