After considering the options above, I concluded shaking the can for 60
secs is not such a bother after all. Besides it helps wind my watch LOL!

Terry,
I think you're on to something here!
Instead of wrapping the can in foam rubber 2" thick how about:
1) find some square foam rubber pieces 6" x 6" x 2"
2) cut holes in the center a bit smaller than the OD of the spray can
3) glue them together to form a stack 4" taller than the spray can
4) make 2 foam rubber plugs that fit very tightly in the ends of the foam
rubber block
5) remove the spray nozzle from the spray can and shove it into the block
6) shove the foam rubber plugs in the ends of the block
7) toss in the dryer - the one that you've bought from Goodwill! ;-)
8) bounce as required

Well, how about this one: wrap the can in a layer of foam, maybe 2"
thick and toss into the dryer. No heat of course. 5 minutes bouncing
around in there should do it. Only problem is I am too scared to try
it. Can you imagine what she would do to me if the paint can went
off!! maybe I should go to the Goodwill and get another
dryer...........Terry

I'd just tape it to my cat's tail. That ought to agitate both.
