WOW,,,really neat fotos(foto site of course),,Really cool test of the large eldo caliper and the HBA(Hayse Brake Automotive)caliper. But I was wondering what he was tring to quantify. {I love using that word,,makes me feel like I really know my stuff when alot of times I just fake it, but don't tell the wife because I think I got her fooled}
It looks like the HBA applies more force with less cable pull.
HBA 130lbs of pull 6300lbs clamp
Eldo 470 6400
SO,,does this mean I should stop looking for the large eldo calipers?? Whats an HBA?? part number?? What vehicle did they come on??? New???,,,,,,thanks,,,PL

Branscome, being a GMCnetter, used reply on another thread so the post on his brake testing is buried in another thread. Sorry but I don't remember which one. The photo site has most of the info at:

I said it was on the foto{sorry,photo}site,,I think its pretty cool, his website has photo,s of his product and I,ve seen it at the rallys, top notch stuff!!! I like testing like that.
If you want more brake testing foto,s look up Ken Hendersons MC tests with air cylinders providing the force. Pretty cool also. I would really like to see stopping distance at a convention of a standard coach. Then convert to the reaction arm. I think I posted that question awile ago. I have the Hubler 12" conversion. Only drove it in the driveway about 100' of rubber followed by 5' of skid. Barely pushed on the gas pedel or the brake.Gata go,,,,PL
