Some color me eccentric but with next day del'y of most any part, I
prefer to travel light. My spares consist of the Black List, Cell Phone
and Credit Card. I used to load up my roof pod with all sorts of extras;
even a floor jack. I wised up, got rid of the spares, the pod, the ladder
to get to the pod & picked up 1 or 2 MPG. Even the spare tire was on the
endangered list.

I agree - unless you still have 8.75*16.5 tires.
When (Hope - Hope) I get 16" rims, I will consider leaving the spare home.
