I have the dreaded wet patch on the carpet outside the closet door. From from what I've read, it looks like the city water fill is to blame, with the pump also creating a minor leak when it is used.
How much of the closet back wall needs to be removed for access and does the wall behind the adjacent electrical cupboard need to be removed too?
Has anyone done this and taken photos? Any suggestions of other things to do while I am back there?
Cheers

Mine had a Tee with a drain on one side. I had to replace it with a 90 degree. The old gray [plastic stuff is becoming had to find. I was able to do it thru the access hole once I removed the carpet. This year I made sure I blew out the line so that it would not freeze.
