I love sifting through the old magazines on Google Books.

Check out the Sept 1921 issue of Popular Mechanics for some early motorhomes on page 337 and 344

Hmm, I just clicked on my link and it worked.

Google books has scanned a number of magazines, some dating back to the early 1900's. I like to read on what was the latest thing back then. Lots of stuff on early radio and television in the 20's and 30's.
