Thank you Rob. Very similar to what I use to align the rear wheels on
the VW's. You have got me thinking about doing a set for my GMC. Soo
easy to use. I have done a lot of experimenting with toe-out.
Wouldn't mind starting that descusion up again...........Terry

Terry,
My toe is set at 1/16th total. The coach handles excellent, but
handled better when I was off by 1/2" on both sides. Both numbers are
positive.

Toeing in will help hold the line better, thats how they set up stock cars.  It's Hell on the tread but as long as you don;t go over to one side or the other it's a straight on stable steer.  Some alignment people toe out a front wheel drive car with the theory when the car torques the wheels are pulled in.  Don;t know about any front wheel drive car but doing that on a GMC is bad juju!  I set the toe straight on, if it does pull in a bit from torque or manybe a tolerance issue in a component it's not a bad thing but I set everything straight on and it seems to work the best.

I'll try that next time Jim. Mine does steer and drive pretty darn
nice though. You ought to know!
