Reading the post on a possable vac modulator problem reminds me of one of the best trouble shooting tools I have ever purchased. A hand vacume pump. One of the handiest tools you will ever buy. With the engine OFF you can hear the doors on your AC system move. Helps to find bad dist. advance and vac modulators. I keep mine in a fishing tackel box with ALOT of tee's,,straits,,hoses,,all of various sizes. Has a vac gage for when the engine is running if you don't hove another one. Used it the other day to pull anti-freeze into a long 1/8 tube from a fuel pressure isolator to a dash gage. Very handy. Some use it to bleed brakes but i had a leek around the bleeder fitting.JWID,,,,,PL,,PS,,don't get fooled by a leak in a EGR valve,,,some leak by design,,don't ask me how I know,they aint cheep.
