The unions are the only reason we do not have 60 hr work weeks, child labor,
unsafe working conditions ( note recent mine disaster and Walmart is NON
union) yes unions have there flaws, as each of us do ,we are only as good as
who we chose to follow.

Actually the Unions had nothing at all to do with the 40 hour work week.
Eighty four years ago, Sept. 26, 1926, Henry Ford revolutionized the
American economy by creating the eight-hour-a-day, five-day work week.
AND, HIS COMPANY WAS NOT UNIONIZED AT THE TIME.
Child labor was legislated in 1938, 72 years ago. Most feel that the
labor unions have, in more recent years, basically just driven up the
cost of things.

Unions bankrupt GM, Chrysler, Steel Industry, american manufacturing.
If you think 60 hour work weeks dont exist because of unions, you clearly are drinking too much union Kool Aid.
Unions are part of the past and all they do know is cost more/produce less and drive business overseas.
